Audrey fell off the barstool and really bonked her nose.  I thought it might have been broken and even took her to the dr to make sure it looked okay.

Weekend in cell phone pics

We didn't really get out the camera this weekend but we still had fun, all our pics are just on the phones.  

Colin was excited when I brought him home some batman pj's from Walmart, complete with cape

Friday night we tried to go to the zoo only to find out they close early for "summer hours".  We went to City Creek mall instead to play in the fountains and eat dinner.  The kids had fun anyways

Saturday we went to a bbq at Tara and Ben's

Saturday night I met up with Denice for some drinks since she was in town

Sunday, we made it back to the zoo

Colin with the grizzly.  We went specifically to see the new polar bear.  We did see him but didn't really get any pictures because it was so crowded and he was on the move

The kids had a fun weekend.  They took 3-4 hr naps each day.  We've been having so much fun I'm having a hard time understanding why Colin is always begging to go to "school".  He loves it there!

Summer Fun

Even though we don't get summers off from work/school, we still try to make the most of them and do lots of fun things with the kids.

 Colin got this slide when he was about 1.  It has gotten so much use.  They still play on it all the time and it's great for the pool.

 Audrey wanted to climb up this pole so Paul helped.  

Colin is getting a lot better on his balance bike. We have a hard time remembering his helmet when we take it to the park but he definitely needs it on this.  It's definitely not like a tricycle.

The kids are at an age when they are having so much fun playing with each other.  They keep each other company at home when we're cleaning or doing yard work.  They love to play together at the park.  They went down the slide together like this a million times this day. 

Paul had to go to Moab for work and brought the kids back some souvenirs. Colin had this bone guy  that he had to dig out of the rock and put together.

Catch Up Again!

I've sure been playing a lot of catch up on here.  It's definitely a problem when the computer starts not working right.  Pair that with a spring of things around the house going wrong and it makes me WAY behind in blogging....yeah, like 2 months I guess.  So, here's a catch up of some things from April.

Aquarium

Super Heroes.  Colin has this super hero cape and mask and had asked to wear it one day.  Audrey came up with this all on her own.  She went and found her swimming goggles and asked me to put them on her and put her blanket on her shoulders.  

Planting grass where we took out the last cottonwood tree.  

Playing with baby dolls

Sidewalk chalk.  The kids have a lot of fun with this but we don't have the best cement area for them to draw on.

Helping Daddy build the tv/fireplace project.  Or, maybe, just hanging out while he works.

Nope....they actually did help some.  :O)
