Boating, Triathlon, Delicate Arch

Paul really wants me to be better about keeping up on the blog so I'm trying....again....to catch up a little bit.  I'll be having a bunch of posts coming up that are old, stuff we want to document.  In June, we went boating with Breck and Preston.  We all had a ton of fun. The kids, especially Audrey, LOVED tubing.

Audrey was really excited when Preston let her drive the boat

The following weekend, we headed to Green River so Breck and I could do a triathlon.  However, the river was too high and we couldn't do the swim.  We just did the bike and run.

Breck came in first place, I got second

After the race we headed to Moab to take them to Delicate Arch

Adam and Stephanie Visit (part 2)

On Monday we all went to Timpanogos Cave.  We had a lot of fun.  The hike is so pretty but I always forget how steep it is.  This was the first time we've taken the kids.  Audrey wasn't wanting to hike so I ended up carrying her the whole way in the Ergo.  Luckily she's small!

Inside the cave

Colin really liked the cave.  He was so excited about everything.  You don't see a whole lot in this video but I still think it's cute.

On Tuesday we took a hike to Lake Mary at Brighton ski resort.

Adam and Stephanie Visit! (part 1)

We were so excited to hear that Adam was planning to do the SpartanTrifecta this year because it meant he was coming to Utah for one of the races....and bringing Stephanie with him.  Adam hasn't been here since our wedding and Stephanie hadn't been here yet.  We were so excited to have them and we all had a ton of fun.
The first day they were in town we just took it kind of easy since Adam's race was coming up.  He did the Spartan Beast up at Soldier Hollow and all the girls went to cheer him on.

That night, we all went up to Snowbird to enjoy the views and hang out for the Cool Air Concert.

It was a little bright for the kids in this shot

We all  had a lot of fun during their visit but the kids got pretty tired at times.  Here's Audrey almost ready to sleep at the concert

The next day, we all headed up to Park Silly for some fun!

We ate lunch at High West

The hula hoops were sure a hit!

Disneyland 2013!

I know I posted about all the character autographs that Audrey got. And to her, that might have been all that Disneyland was about.  However, we did have a lot of fun besides that!

The first thing we did was head to Carsland. This was our first ride of the trip. Radiator Springs Racers was closed so we didn't stay long and we went back another day.

Wilderness Adventure like in Up!

Being a wilderness adventurerer!

Bugs Life....the kids rode these rides in here over and over and loved them.

CarsLand

Splash Mountain...I got soaked. Colin was covered with Paul's jacket so he stayed mostly dry.  He wasn't too sure what he thought but he did like it enough to ride it again.

Paul took Colin on Space Mountain(you can't really see him there though)

Waiting in line

Ferris Wheel...we only went around once after it finally loaded; everyone was a little disappointed

Watching the Pixar parade in California Adventure. The kids LOVED it, it was really good.  We never fully watched the one at Disney but the pieces we saw didn't seem as good.  People lined up for hours to get good seats for the Disney one and I didn't understand why and we just didn't care that much to use that much time for it.

Taking pictures of the parade.  Audrey was LOVING using the cameras on our phones during this trip.  She wanted to take pictures of everything. She got some pretty good ones and some that were crazy or of keys and stuff.

Buzz Astroblaster

We spent a whole morning or so in ToonTown.  It's a lot of fun for the kids at this age.  This was in line for the roller coaster.

You can see that Audrey had that awful cold in her right eye, she could barely open it. :O(

Visiting Mickey and Minnie's houses

Dumbo

Audrey and I went to a Disney Junior show when Colin was off riding a ride that she couldn't.  She loved it. We wished we were able to get him back to it but we ended up not having time.

It's a Small World

Disney was a lot of fun lit up at night. (Audrey took this picture)
