NY 2012: Horseheads

Mother's Day

Paul came back from Moab the night before Mother's Day so that he could be here to spend the day with me.  However, he had ended up getting his cornea scratched on his ride and ended up in the ER that night and he felt pretty awful the next day.  We got up and went to church in the morning and took some pictures afterwards.  (still a little too bright, we have to get that figured out :O)  )

We tried to relax most of the rest of the day.  I was able to head out and get some shopping done while the kids napped.  

Catch up: Part 2...Early May

May was a busy month, but mainly because we spent 11 days of it traveling to NY.  Here's a little catch up of early May before our trip.  Paul took the kids to get their pictures taken by a guy at church that was doing a shoot as a Mother's Day gift to the moms in the church.  Here's a few shots.  They're cute, but they got really washed out in editing.  I'm not too fond of this editing technique.

In early May, Paul headed down to Moab for a biking trip with some friends.  That Saturday, Dad and I took the kids to the park.  They had so much fun.  This is a great park that has a ton for them to do(it's where my work has the Easter egg hunt).  The kids played for hours and I got to practice a bit with my camera.

Catch Up Again!

I've sure been playing a lot of catch up on here.  It's definitely a problem when the computer starts not working right.  Pair that with a spring of things around the house going wrong and it makes me WAY behind in blogging....yeah, like 2 months I guess.  So, here's a catch up of some things from April.

Aquarium

Super Heroes.  Colin has this super hero cape and mask and had asked to wear it one day.  Audrey came up with this all on her own.  She went and found her swimming goggles and asked me to put them on her and put her blanket on her shoulders.  

Planting grass where we took out the last cottonwood tree.  

Playing with baby dolls

Sidewalk chalk.  The kids have a lot of fun with this but we don't have the best cement area for them to draw on.

Helping Daddy build the tv/fireplace project.  Or, maybe, just hanging out while he works.

Nope....they actually did help some.  :O)
