Buffalo trip: Part 1
(it's taken me awhile to get this post up. I love some of the pictures that Sheri took on her new camera and wanted to use them. However, the files are large and I was having a tough time getting the blog site to upload them. So I finally ended up just resizing them for the blog.)
After Horseheads, we headed to Buffalo and our reason for the trip...Tracy and Justin's wedding. We had a lot of fun in Buffalo during our trip also. Jen and Jason came to town also. This was the first time we were all staying at Jim's with all the kids. To say we had a "houseful" would be an understatement. Luckily the boys were great and slept in the basement so we could use their rooms. And Sheri and Jim didn't mind kids taking naps in their room. Our plan was to put Natalie, Tyler and Colin in the same room. It went just okay at night but didn't work at naptime so we had to separate them. We had some interesting times watching the kids on the video monitor and seeing them get into trouble, and avoiding sleeping. The night we were at the wedding, Jim and Sheri caught the boys getting into Dylan's drawers and finding(and eating) some of his candy. They will probably share rooms a lot when we're together so hopefully they get better at it.
We got in on Friday at lunch time. We headed over to Jean and Dave's for a little bit. Colin got to go swimming, which he loved.
The kids eating at the little table that used to be Sheri's when she was little.
We definitely had a couple of meltdowns over the week in NY
It was really hot a couple of days. Jim got out the pool and sprinkler and the kids had a ton of fun
After water play, we had a picnic on the dock
They had so much fun playing with Grandpa and their cousins

Horseheads Part 3
On our last day in Horseheads we headed up to Corning. We went to the Glass Museum and then took the bus over to Market Street to eat lunch at Anniello's. It was nice to take Paul to Corning. He's never spent much time there.
Colin was trying so hard to keep the ice cream from getting all over his clothes.
On the bus back to our car
That night we had a fire and made s'mores at my mom's house.
We had so much fun on our visit. On our car ride to buffalo, Colin was in the backseat talking to his baby doggy. He was telling his stuffed animal "I had a lot of fun at Mimi's too and I don't want to leave. We'll see her again in a couple weeks though". It was so cute, I wanted to cry. Sometimes it is so tough living away from family.
Horseheads Part 2
( I don't know why the font came up in such funny spots and I can't seem to fix it. Maybe it'll just fix itself?!)
My mom has her hot tub turned way down for the summer. The kids had a lot of fun playing in it.
They also had a lot of fun just playing with new things
On Monday we met Tina and Greg at the mall for lunch at Friendly's. The kids had fun in the arcade first.
On Monday night Paul and I left the kids with my mom to go mountain biking with Jim and Sheri in Ellicotville.
They had a lot of fun without us.
We had a lot of fun too. It was about a 2 hour drive. We got there in time to go out to dinner. Tuesday morning Sheri and Dylan drove down to go biking with us. We had a lot of fun. The trails were kind of difficult to figure out where you were but they were fun to ride. We did a bunch of trails and then went over to Holimont and did a trail to the top of the resorts. We went back to the condo, showered, ate and headed back to Horseheads.
The next morning we went to the park at Harris Hill so I could see Corinne. I hadn't seen her in years. It was so nice to hang out and catch up. Luckily her kids were troopers because the park that I picked wasn't quite suitable for the ages of her kids. They got pretty bored.

That night we went to Olive Garden for dinner with my aunts and some cousins.
This picture was taken after the kids' meltdowns and Paul taking them home.
