Spring weekend

We had great weather all weekend.  We've been loving that spring seems to be here(for the moment anyways) and definitely taking advantage of it.    

On Saturday we went to the zoo and the park.  Colin had been asking for a week to go to the zoo.  They had so much fun and we actually had pretty good luck with the animals.  I think everyone decided Saturday was a good day for the zoo because the parking lot was packed.  However, we went later in the day so everyone was leaving as we got there.

We just ordered a pizza for dinner and had some icees for dessert.

We tried out a new park also on Saturday.

On Sunday we went to church.  Afterwards I loaded the kids in the bike trailer and took them to the park.  This was the best picture I could get of them.  Colin is wearing my old helmet and Audrey is wearing Colin's old one.  They had a lot of fun at the park.  I got a good workout on the ride back home. 

Even with all that, Paul and I were able to go see the Hunger Games and each fit in two bike rides.  Paul did a road ride Friday and a mountain bike ride on Sunday with Ben.  I did a road ride Saturday during nap and another one Sunday night with Tara when the boys got back.  

Catch up March

Paul and I finally got a day of skiing in while his mom was here.  We picked one of the best days of the year.  There was so much snow.

Family movie night.  We pulled out the sleeper sofa, cuddled up with lots of pillows, ate popcorn, and watched Shrek(Colin's choice)

Random February Catch-up

For Christmas Paul got a new phone and I got a new DSLR camera.  So, now we have 2 phones and 2 cameras to upload from in order for me to do blog posts.  I am having a much harder time keeping caught up.  

Colin fell down the cement stairs outside of a store.  His face looked awful. It has healed pretty well but still has some scarring that I hope gets better.

Grandma's visit

We have had a lot of visitors lately.  Grandma came to visit the first weekend in March.  She wanted to get out skiing with Colin.  However, the canyon was closed so we couldn't go to Alta like we usually do.  We decided we'd go get some night skiing passes at Brighton.  We got all the way up there before we realized they don't have night skiing on Sunday.   So, we just hiked Colin up the hill a bunch of times so he could ski down.  He had a lot of fun.  I don't think he really cared.
