Snowbird Day

We decided that yesterday would be the perfect day to do a ski day.  It was the day before Daylight Savings and we all needed to be tired to get to bed early.  We got a babysitter and Paul and I went out skiing early.  We skied from 9-12, came home to get the kids and then took them skiing.

The weather was really crazy.  At times it was sunny. Other times it was SOOO foggy that you couldn't see anything.

On the Tram!

It worked, we were all exhausted at the end of the day.  We set the clocks ahead as soon as we got home and the kids went down early and fell asleep quick.

A fall and other randomness

(almost all cell pics again)
Audrey fell off the barstool and really bonked her nose.  I thought it might have been broken and even took her to the dr to make sure it looked okay.

(A few days later) She looked pretty beat up for awhile

We all had so much fun when the cousins came out to visit!  This post brought to you entirely by cell phone pictures. Sometimes you wouldn't know we got new cameras for Christmas last year.

Audrey's big girl bed

A little while ago Audrey started insisting that she have a big bed like Colin's.  We had already converted her crib to the toddler bed but she wanted a "big bed"!  In January, we decided to go ahead and switch her bed.  However, we made a deal with her.  We told her that big girls sleep in big beds and big girls don't have bottles.  She was still sleeping with a bottle of water at night.  She had to throw away her bottle if she was going to get her big bed.  She had a hard time with this decision and went back and forth for a whole afternoon(haha).  Finally she picked up her bottle and threw it in the garbage and said she wanted a big bed.  She never looked back for the bottle.  It took me a few days to throw away the rest because I was scared but she was fine with it and never wavered.

The first few nights she slept with the mattress on the floor like this.

When the weekend got here, Paul built the bed....with a little help

Her first night in her new big girl bed

This is how she insists on sleeping every night now.  The pillows all need to be stacked up just like this.  She's almost sitting up she's so high on pillows
