December 10th-24th 2013

The title of this post is a date, I am aware of that.  That is because between getting home from California and it being Christmas was completely crazy. It went so fast and there was so much to do and accomplish.

Birthday party for Papa

Putting up the Christmas tree

Sending out Christmas cards

AHHH!!!! (this is how I felt most of the month)

Making a gingerbread house

Skiing!!!

hot chocolate in the lodge

Dressed for the Christmas concert at school

Making candies. This was so much easier this year with the kids helping. They loved opening all the rolos for me.

We painted a canvas for our wall. We couldn't find anything big enough for the space that was affordable so we saw an idea on Pinterest and just made our own.

New carpet to match the new decor

 Christmas cards all hung

Presents ready for Christmas morning

Disneyland 2013!

I know I posted about all the character autographs that Audrey got. And to her, that might have been all that Disneyland was about.  However, we did have a lot of fun besides that!

The first thing we did was head to Carsland. This was our first ride of the trip. Radiator Springs Racers was closed so we didn't stay long and we went back another day.

Wilderness Adventure like in Up!

Being a wilderness adventurerer!

Bugs Life....the kids rode these rides in here over and over and loved them.

Carousel

Radiator Springs Racers

CarsLand

Splash Mountain...I got soaked. Colin was covered with Paul's jacket so he stayed mostly dry.  He wasn't too sure what he thought but he did like it enough to ride it again.

Paul took Colin on Space Mountain(you can't really see him there though)

Waiting in line

Ferris Wheel...we only went around once after it finally loaded; everyone was a little disappointed

Watching the Pixar parade in California Adventure. The kids LOVED it, it was really good.  We never fully watched the one at Disney but the pieces we saw didn't seem as good.  People lined up for hours to get good seats for the Disney one and I didn't understand why and we just didn't care that much to use that much time for it.

Taking pictures of the parade.  Audrey was LOVING using the cameras on our phones during this trip.  She wanted to take pictures of everything. She got some pretty good ones and some that were crazy or of keys and stuff.

Paul and I on Tower of Terror(Paul is behind the guy's hand in the front right with the black sweatshirt, I'm next to him on the left)

Buzz Astroblaster

We spent a whole morning or so in ToonTown.  It's a lot of fun for the kids at this age.  This was in line for the roller coaster.

You can see that Audrey had that awful cold in her right eye, she could barely open it. :O(

Audrey's first roller coaster

Visiting Mickey and Minnie's houses

Dumbo

Audrey and I went to a Disney Junior show when Colin was off riding a ride that she couldn't.  She loved it. We wished we were able to get him back to it but we ended up not having time.

It's a Small World

Disney was a lot of fun lit up at night. (Audrey took this picture)

The water light show at California Adventure

Watching fireworks for the first time
