Snowy ski day

We have season passes for skiing at Snowbird this year and have been trying to get the kids out a lot.  They are loving it, we all are!  Last week we went up after it had been snowing all week and it continued to snow that day.  We did a few runs with the kids then took turns doing some runs on our own.

Autographs!

Last time when we went to Disneyland, Bobby bought the kids autograph books for the characters. We were only there one day that time so didn't really have the opportunity to try to meet characters.  Audrey found her book before we left home and she was really excited to take it. Meeting characters and getting autographs was her favorite part of the trip. Sometimes she was a little nervous and wanted our help going up to them but once they signed her book they were her best friend.  She loved it.  

The first characters they met were Dug and Russel from Up.

Audrey loved the characters so much that I decided to take her to a princess lunch so she could meet the princesses.  She wasn't feeling the greatest this day and it shows in the pics. But she loved it.  She didn't understand why Ariel wasn't sitting at our table though.

When we got home we got all these pictures developed and put them in her book with the autographs.  She loves it!

The Pacific Ocean

My kids had never been to the ocean.  They had seen it from the window of an airplane and been to many beaches at lakes, but never to the ocean. This was one of the things I was really excited to introduce them to when we came to California. We decided to head down to Santa Monica Pier so we could spend some time at the water and go to the pier.  I thought we'd touch the water and that would be it.  Surprisingly, it was really warm out and the water wasn't cold. We played forever.  They loved it so much, we went back the next day.

Christmas Concert

The kids had a holiday concert at daycare.  They were so cute.  Audrey's song was just a little repetitive but she loved it.  They did a great job.

Halloween 2013

We had a lot of fun this Halloween season.  The kids loved doing pumpkins and had multiple parties to go to.  Halloween day was a fun and exhausting one!
