Audrey is not yet crawling but she can definitely get around with scooting and rolling.
In this picture she had started out sitting in the boppy. Can you see her now? She managed to get herself all of the way across the room. It is getting much more difficult to keep things out of her reach.

Having a ball
We hadn't had the ball pit out in quite awhile until Colin found the bag of balls up in his closet. He knew right where the playmat was that we had been using as his ball pit before Audrey got here. I didn't realize that Audrey would love it so much. She has been having so much fun playing in there and they enjoy playing together.

Audrey is taking after me
Here she is catching up on her celebrity gossip magazines....just like Mommy!
I just had to add a couple other pictures because she is still at the age where I can get cute pictures of her. Colin tends to make weird faces in all the pics I take.
On Monday Paul stayed home with the kids because Audrey was sick. Here she is hanging out with Nala.
And a cute video with Nala

Snow Day
This is what it looked like outside as we went to bed last night. This is out our new front window. We love the view out that window sometimes.
This is what we woke up to this morning. We got about 10 inches of snow over night.
So we spent the morning outside shoveling the driveway.
There was so much snow, and our lot is so hilly. As we were shoveling the driveway we had to throw the snow on top of this hill and it made quite a tall pile.
According to the weather forcast we are supposed to continue to get storms for the next few days and it is going to be cold! The high on Wednesday is only supposed to be 18! Brrr...winter is definitely here.

Sunday in Las Vegas
I am behind on this post. I already posted about Sunday night because that is when the kids dressed up and we went trick or treating. But I haven't posted about Sunday during the day. Paul's been getting on my case about finishing out this trip. It is hard to keep up and takes a lot of time to put a post together sometimes.
On Sunday morning we headed out to the Shark Reef at Mandalay.
This was on our walk over.
Some pictures from the aquarium
Jen and Tyler
Colin
Colin, Tyler and Natalie were having a lot of fun walking back to the room together. That was until Tyler and Colin got going too fast and Natalie couldn't quite keep up. She took a pretty bad fall. Colin is 15 months younger than Tyler and 9 months older than Natalie. He is so short...I feel bad for passing along those genes to him.

A Fall Night
I had been wanting to rake up the leaves to let Colin play in them and get some cute pictures of the kids. It just wasn't seeming to work out between leaves being wet or being too busy, etc. The other night after going for a walk Paul decided to rake some leaves into a pile for us. Colin wasn't real sure what to think but I got some cute pictures anyways.
Audrey getting ready to go outside. Paul's coworker's wife made her hat. It's cute on her but still a little too big.
It's not the best picture of them but the best one I was able to get. They definitely don't like the flash.
Audrey had a lot of fun in the leaves.

Audrey is 7 months old!
Audrey is now 7 months old! It just keeps going way too fast. The biggest change this month is that Audrey has her 2 bottom front teeth coming in. She's not liking it very much. However, she has also gotten sick this week so it's hard to tell which she's fussy about. My normally "never fussy" baby has been making up for it big time this week.
Audrey slept through the night about half the time this month. She's been getting better at it. However, she went 2 weeks of sleeping all night and then she got sick, so we'll see how it goes once she feels better. She is down to usually taking 2 naps a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sometimes she needs a little one in the evening depending on how long the others were. The last couple of days she has been sleeping on her stomach. I don't know yet if it is a permanent change or just a phase.
She's been enjoying trying new foods. She is up to: rice cereal, carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, apples, and green beans. We are just starting to add a second meal to the day. She still takes a bottle every 3-4 hrs and one before bedtime.
She has become mobile this month. If I set her down on the floor she will tip over onto her stomach and roll all over the room. She turns in all directions and rolls to get her toys. She hasn't gotten up on her knees yet but she is definitely motivated to move.
She likes playing with new things. She seems to get bored with toys really easily. She keeps wanting something new all of the time. At least she has an older brother with lots of toys she can choose from. She likes standing up and spends a lot of time at the leap frog table. She still likes her jumperoo but I can tell she's starting to get tired of it.

Saturday in Vegas
Saturday morning we got up and all went down to the Hard Rock Cafe for breakfast.
This is Colin on his way to breakfast. This was pretty much Colin the whole weekend. He just ran around the casino everywhere we went. He must have run miles and miles in the weekend.
Also on our way to breakfast, waiting for them to open. I guess they don't expect people in Vegas to be out and going to breakfast at 7:45am.
At breakfast(Audrey is in the back in her carseat, sleeping. Because....at 8am she had already been up for 2 1/2 hrs and was ready for a nap)
She woke up during breakfast
After breakfast I went and took a nap, I was exhausted. Everyone else went and walked the strip a little bit with the kids.
Colin had an ice cream cone and saw Elmo
In the afternoon we got to spend a few minutes with Bobby during the Michigan game's commercials.
Colin wasn't so sure about it
The kids had some fun jumping on the bed as we were trying to get ready to go out to dinner.
Just hanging out in the hotel
Jen, Jason, Paul and I went out to eat with the kids. This is a video of what it is like to go to dinner with four adults and four kids 3 and under. To make it worse, we were in a booth with only one high chair. This video doesn't really do it justice to how difficult of a dinner it was.
After the kids went to bed we all got ready and dressed up for our party. Grandma came and watched the kids for us. Luckily it was easy for her and none of them woke up(they must have been tired out).
Here we were before we left the hotel. Bill is Hef, Carol a bunny. I am an anime cat and Paul is the cigar guy from the Tiger Woods picture. Jason is a nerd and Jen is a race car driver.
Bobby was a dj
The stage
Billy was the Toad from Mario Brothers
The whole family

WANTED
This picture was done at daycare and they had it hanging up there for a few weeks. I think it's so cute. They put "also known as "baby"" because that's what Colin called her. Most of the time now though he says "baby Audrey".
Audrey had another big day today. She is getting her first tooth....and she doesn't like it. I feel so bad for her. I hope they are not all like this.

Friday in Vegas
Two years ago all the guys headed out to Vegas for Halloween for Billy's birthday. Last year, Paul's mom and I decided we were going to go also. However, we had Colin and I was pregnant. We had a good time but didn't really get to enjoy Halloween in Vegas. I decided then that we were going to go back this year. When Jen and Jason were out this summer we convinced them to come along. Billy and Bobby were going anyways with their friends. Paul's grandma decided to come to watch the kids for us so we could all go out for Halloween. It ended up being a big family party in Vegas. It was a lot of work but we all had a lot of fun and Colin really loved it.
We left at 9am to drive down to Vegas. The kids did really well in the car. We stopped twice for Colin to go potty. We packed a lunch and just ate in the car. We made GREAT time....until we ran into a traffic jam right in Vegas. There was an accident and we were in stopped traffic for almost an hour.
When we got in we got the kids around and went right to the pool for a little bit.
Audrey had a lot of fun playing in the sand.
Colin in the pool
Enjoying the lazy river
I wasn't sure if I was going to get Audrey in the pool but I decided that I would since it was her first time "swimming". She liked it for a little while but then I think she got cold because she got really mad.
After some time at the pool we got ready and headed out to dinner. We all hopped on the tram to Excalibur and then walked over to MGM. We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Colin and Tyler really liked all the animals, Natalie wasn't so sure.
Waiting for the train. Colin wondering "choo choo....where are you?"
On the train to Excalibur
This was on our walk over. Colin had a lot of fun with Uncle Billy that night. He threw a huge fit when Billy left.
Dinner at Rainforest
During dinner someone came over to make the kids balloon animals. Billy convinced her to make the "most amazing" thing she could make.
After dinner Jason, Paul and Billy took the kids back to the hotel while the rest of us went and saw KA. We enjoyed the show. Paul had a tough time with the kids because Colin got really upset when Billy left and Audrey was way too over tired. He managed though, both were tucked nicely in bed when I got back.
After the show Paul and I headed to bed. We were hoping to get a good night sleep in because we knew we'd be up late the next night. The kids had other plans. They each got up once during the night and then were both up at 5:30 am(since we were an hr behind Utah time).
