Happy Halloween 2011

The kids really enjoyed halloween this year. Colin was a fireman(handown from Tyler) and Audrey was a pink poodle. I saw her costume online and just loved it. We had it for over a month before halloween got here and tried to get her to wear it many times. She really didn't want much to do with it. However, when the day actually got here and she saw everyone else dressed up, and got candy, she was okay wearing it. The kids had parties at school. They decorated pumpkins, wore their costumes, and took group pictures. Colin's class and the older kids trick or treated to each other and handed out candy. Here's the pumpkins they made.

After daycare we headed over to Paul's work to do trick or treating there. Daddy dressed up too.

At night Uncle Billy came over and we took the kids trick or treating around the neighborhood. They had a lot of fun. Colin had a lot of fun going up and ringing doorbells and saying trick or treat but he wouldn't do it by himself. He needed to have one of us walk right up to the door with him. Audrey definitely wasn't shy about reaching into the baskets and taking candy. She would always try to take a bunch. Of course everyone said "oh, she's so cute, she can have as many as she wants." Obviously she won't be eating it all and we'll be the ones eating way too much sugar this season.
