Happy July 4th!

We have had a busy few days. Paul's dad and sister came in to town for a visit. It's been a fun weekend. We had a good 4th, the kids had a lot of fun. In the morning we all went to the park. There were 6 adults, 4 kids(3 strollers), and 2 dogs walking to the park. We looked like a parade. We had two different cars stop to comment on how we looked like a parade. The kids all played at the park for awhile and had a lot of fun.

Everyone wanted to take turns riding the car around the park

We took the opportunity to take some pictures of Grandpa with his grandkids.

Here he is with his granddaughters

And here with all the grandkids

I had this outfit for Audrey and thought it would be good for a July 4th outfit. It just needed some blue.

And when we got this hat as a gift from Aunt Nancy it completed it perfectly

I tried to be festive and made a flag cake

At night we set off some fireworks with the boys. They really liked the "snappers" that they could throw and would pop. They were a little nervous about the actual fireworks until they were placed nice and far away. Then they enjoyed them.

All cozy for fireworks

Colin and Tyler loved these "snappers"
