Colin's 2 year Dr appointment

This week I took Colin to the Dr's for his 2 year checkup. It was actually kind of a crazy day. 6 months ago I scheduled my dentist appointment for 2:50 on Sept 23rd. Then about 3 months ago I managed to schedule Colin's appointment for the same day, at 4 pm. I thought about rescheduling his but realized we could probably manage. I took dad's car to work and got out of work early and went to my dentist appointment. Dad took my car and was nice enough to go pick up the kids from daycare for me. He met me at the dr's office and I went in with Colin and he took Audrey home. I got there at 4pm on the dot. It actually was kind of nice to only waste one afternoon with appointments instead of 2 in one week.

Colin's appointment went pretty well. He was super shy in the beginning and didn't like being weighed or measured. Once Dr O'mara came in he started to feel more comfortable. We were in the dinosaur room and he loved looking at all of them.

Colin is 33 inches tall and weighs 25 lbs. He is about 15-20th percentile for both. His head is still way off the charts and is even more off the charts than he was. The dr isn't concerned because he is on track developmentally but is sending the information over to the specialist that we saw before. She was very impressed with his speech. He had a lot to say during the appointment and she seemed surprised at his sentences and how well she could understand him. She was also very impressed with him and Paul for him being potty trained.

She said we were in trouble. She said "precocious 2-year olds make difficult 3-year olds." I'm scared, I thought he was already difficult!
